The Local Commission for Combating Anti-Social Behaviour of Juveniles and Minors (MCBPPMN) is a municipal structure, established and operating on the basis of the Act on Combating Anti-Social Behaviour of Juveniles and Minors. The Commission is composed of 8 members, representatives of the municipal administration, teachers, psychologists, and lawyers. The Chairman of the Commission is the Deputy Mayor. Between the meetings of the Commission, current issues are resolved by a three-member Operational Bureau. During the year, 4 meetings are held with a specific agenda, reflecting the activities of the commission, the implementation of the decisions taken and the results of the implemented innovative practices.
The MCBPPMN carries out and coordinates the socio-pedagogical activity on the territory of the Municipality with regard to minors and juveniles, initiates programs to counteract anti-social manifestations, cooperates with all institutions working with and for children, maintains contacts with human rights and judicial authorities.
A consultative office operates at the MCBPPMN, in which a team of specialist public educators works. The activities of the office are organized and operate in accordance with Chapter VIII of the LBPPMN, the Statute of the consultative office and the Code of Ethics for those working with children. 10 public educators have been designated for the Municipality of Kameno, who submit monthly reports on the correctional and educational work they have carried out with children designated for educational supervision and their participation in preventive measures. The office works according to an annual plan, which includes organizational, social-preventive, correctional-educational, and qualification events. The public educators, together with the children, are actively involved in events organized by the MCBPPMN and the UKBPPMN. They make proposals to the Social Protection Directorate for the provision of social assistance to parents.
